MONARCH HOMES

We choose our homes with great care at Monarch. Our homes are spacious, comfortable, centrally located and safe for all. We know that a positive and judgement-free environment is essential in early recovery and we are proud to be able to provide this for those seeking that additional touch of comfort and care. We also know not every sober living environment is the same. Beyond the critical core structure and the standards and support that we offer, our homes are designed to be as comfortable as possible. Amenities in each home include cable, high-speed internet, WiFi, 4k HD flat screens, new comfortable full and twin size beds along with bedding, ample storage space for personal items, house bikes, exercise equipment, in-home laundry, parking and so much more!

After all, this is your home.

Monarch is owned and operated by

Between the two of us we have 11 years clean and sober. We both attribute our sobriety to entering a structured sober living home immediately out of treatment. Having lived and managed structured sober living homes for years, we are now able to share what we know works through proper structure, personal accountability and independence. Finding support in others and rebuilding self-confidence is key to recovery in our sober living homes.  We are here to provide you a clean, safe environment to help you gain the traction you need to build the necessary tools to attain your goals and find happiness in sobriety.

My sobriety date is January 7 , 2012...and not a day too soon.  After admitting defeat to my alcoholism, I left my home town Chicago for in-patient treatment and then moved directly into a sober living home in San Francisco as part of my relapse prevention program.  After finding a disciplined sponsor, getting honest with myself and working a solid recovery program, I found relief and then a completely new life.  I attribute an enormous amount of my early recovery and success to the people in sober living and the support I found in the structure of the homes.  Knowing what works, I look forward to continuing working with others and sharing my experiences as it benefits ALL of us as we continue to grow in recovery, literally one day at a time.

I have been sober since September 5, 2010. I received treatment in San Francisco and immediately entered into a sober living home. I attribute my recovery to the amazing people that I have met within the homes and through recovery networks such as AA and NA. I have managed multiple homes throughout the Bay Area and have seen what works and what does not work in sober living. I am excited to bring my knowledge and know how into Monarch, beginning the next chapter in my recovery. Giving back and helping others in recovery is the cornerstone to my success and I am honored to share that with others.
